Our exteriors are built using northern white pine logs that are properly dried and milled to our engineering specifications in our own saw mill. They are treated with One TIME® Wood Protector that penetrates the wood deeply and protects against water damage, as well as UV damage caused by sunlight and natural weathering. It also helps prevent chalking and related wash-down staining.
We install proper water diversion systems in our underground plumbing, as well as drain tile around the inside and outside of the foundation to pull all the water away from your home. We also apply a waterproofing compound to the exterior of our foundations.
A final landscaping is applied to every property using local stones and rocks to enhance the woodland beauty of the surrounding area and home.
We work with you to design a custom home that truly maximizes your views and property – from the orientation of the home, to the location of large windows.
Homes & Land
To ensure a low-stress process and top-quality property, we combine properties and homes into one package. We spend years developing raw acreage into quality sites for your new log home. We partner with you to design your log home to work best with the property you’ve selected to ensure both pieces of the puzzle work together in harmony.
We speak from experience in saying that we have seen what headaches and unanticipated costs can arise when working with a piece of challenging land. To remove this headache and risk for our customers, we take on the land development piece. We methodically scout and evaluate land before purchasing it and then spend years developing the land with industrial-grade road systems, underground utilities, waste water and well systems, and gated entrances so it’s ready for your home.
Starting in the $500,000 range, the cost of building a Jubach log home may seem higher, but in reality, it just combines all of costs that are often broken out into separate transactions with other companies into one single, comprehensive price. With The Jubach Company, our process is a little different and our project cost includes absolutely everything – including the land development.
Pick your property from our already developed land offerings. Waterfalls, spring-fed lakes, tree canopies – you’ll find it all in our developed properties.
Browse our gallery of homes to get design ideas and inspiration. If you see a home you like, we may even be able to arrange for a personal tour so you can see it for yourself.
Think about how many bedrooms and bathrooms you want, how many acres you’d like to invest in, and other high-level specifications for your home. Or, if you would rather build from an existing floor plan, select a few of your favorites and we’ll draw up a custom design for you.
We’d love to meet you and learn more about your log home vision and goals. When we meet, we can determine what properties you want to see, and if you want to view any of our previously built log homes for ideas and inspiration.
