After eight years of renting cabins in the Hocking Hills, Frank and Terri decided to build their perfect hideaway. Their 2,600-square-foot sanctuary is situated on 20 acres of mature woods. Their house is full of custom character, including an open staircase made with hand-selected and milled timbers that allow a more airy feel in the home’s open concept floor plan.
We had so much fun doing it [building our home] and seeing the progress of our very own log home. I think what made it so much fun and enjoyable was having a builder that was accommodating, honest and could give you great ideas.
