Hickory Ridge
Sheila and Mike built their 2,800-square-foot log home as an escape for the whole family. Their carriage house apartment adds even more living space, with a bedroom kitchenette, bathroom and living area.
The hardwood used in our interiors is grown locally and crafted by our exclusive cabinet shop. This wood is used throughout the interiors of the house from the floor, cabinets, paneling, railing and other finishing trim.
We know the kitchen is where you spend a great deal of time, so we go to great lengths to ensure this space is special. We work with a specialty cabinet maker that makes cabinets – custom for each home – out of quality hardwoods. They can be customized with various design features, as well as a wide variety of stains and colors.
As a custom builder, we can ensure every vision becomes reality in your new log home. From darker, contrasting trim stains to barn doors, the sky really is the limit!
We use premium building materials, including Kohler plumbing fixtures, to ensure function is as important as beauty.
We encourage you to browse through our gallery of homes below to see intricate details of previously built Jubach log homes. Whether you’re looking for design inspiration or just want to see the quality of our work, these photos will help you visualize both the interior of a Jubach log home and the exterior of a Jubach property.

After living in numerous places in Columbus, including a high-rise in downtown Columbus, Carl and Mary were ready for a “cabin in the woods”! Their home features a beautifully stoned fireplace in the interior, which allowed for additional windows on the gable end of the house providing enhanced views of the property. The floor tile in the master bath and shower walls look incredible. The cabin in the woods feel is present through the home with custom made furniture from Amish Country along with lighting and switchplate covers that feature deer, elk and bears.
